A fleet of Waterfly craft skimming the sea after sunset

The team building 10x cheaper airplanes.

Our story

Our story started in college, building race cars and solar cars.

Every year, shipping them to the competition cost more than building them.

So we took what those cars taught us about ground-effect aerodynamics, electric powertrain and composites and set out to reimagine the airplane.

Electric sea-skimming craft, moving people and cargo 10x cheaper than airplanes.

Three disciplines

  1. 01Ground-effect aerodynamics
  2. 02Electric powertrain
  3. 03Composites

The team behind Waterfly

We started at IIT Madras. Today we're a small team of engineers in India, and we build every craft in-house.
